Delete your account and data
You can delete your Sarkari Sevak account from inside the app, or by sending a request from this page. You do not need to have the app installed, and there is no charge.

From inside the app
Open Sarkari Sevak, go to account settings, and choose Delete account. Confirm when asked. Your account is removed and the data linked to it is deleted.
From here, without the app
- Send the request. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line Delete my account.
- Confirm it is you. We reply to that same address asking you to confirm. This stops anyone else deleting your account.
- Deletion is completed. Within 30 days of your confirmation, your account and its data are gone.
Send the request from the email address on the account. If you no longer have access to it, write from any address and tell us the address you used to sign up, and we will verify another way.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address and password hash
- Your saved filters: education level, state, departments, minimum salary
- Your bookmarked vacancies
- The notification token that links alerts to your device
- Support messages you have sent us, once the request is closed
What may be kept, and for how long
Records we are required to retain to meet a legal obligation, or to prevent fraud and abuse, are kept for as long as that purpose requires and are not used for anything else. Diagnostic and crash logs that are not linked to your account expire within 90 days. Everything else is deleted.
Delete some data without closing your account
If you only want your saved vacancies or your filters cleared, say so in the email and keep the account. Turning off alerts alone does not need a request: switch notifications off in the app, or in your phone's Android settings for the app.
